MacBook Air 13" - my trusty steed, my travel companion, my millstone.
Moleskine notebooks, softcover squared and Japanese album - unbelievably useful, timeless, and travel-worthy.
Zebra F-301 black ballpoint pens - there is no finer pen choice.
iPhone 6Plus with Jack Spade leather case - the 5th iPhone I've owned, mainly used for email and social media, and a great point-and-shoot camera.
Apple Watch 42mm stainless steel - the toy I've given myself.
Boneco Travel Ultrasonic Humidifier 7146 - for a person with as many sinus issues as I do, this is a godsend.
Jack Spade dipped tote, dipped brief, commuter day pack - stylish, functional, and durable.
Herschel Supply Company Little America, Novel - I've not checked in bags in over five years thanks to these packs.
Uniqlo - work clothes, gym clothes, basics. Their sock selection is excellent.
PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 - crucial entertainment pieces if I need to zone out of reality for a bit.
KeepCup Medium x Blue Bottle Coffee - the Goldilocks cup size of coffee, preferably filled with New Orleans Cold Brew from Blue Bottle.
Stereo Skateboards Cruiser - outside of my MetroCard, the only other way to zip around town.

Web Tools

I wholeheartedly use and support Squarespace for site hosting and domain management. Also their blogging app on the phone is excellent!

For image purposes, I use Boss Fight for the best stock photo resource, and use Pixlr if I need to do any fine image tuning. Otherwise, I've relied on Google Photos for image backups, Giphy for GIF macros, and Imgur for everything else.

I use Inbox to manage my email, Box for file transfers, Slack for messaging, and Evernote for general productivity.

For general slacktivities I consume Netflix, Hulu Plus, and HBOGo; there's always YouTube for cat videos and dance videos; and of course, the time-sink that is Reddit

Phone Stuff
I live off of my phone and use it mostly for productivity and social media. To bolster the Camera, I use the entire Instagram suite of apps: Layout, Boomerang, and Hyperlapse. For further image tuning, I use Snapseed; to get pictures from my friends, I use Moments and Snapchat.

In terms of city living, Google Maps and Transit are essential. For discovery, I use Foursquare and Swarm; for being lazy, I use Seamless, Postmates, Uber, and Venmo.

For work, I use Delectable for posting about wine, Twitter for... well, Twitter, Avero for reporting, and the entire Google Suite of apps for productivity.

I use both Spotify and Tidal to stream music, but mostly listen to Podcasts: the Radiotopia network (99% Invisible, Criminal, the Allusionist, Song Exploder, the Memory Palace, and Fugitive Waves), the Gimlet Media network (Reply All, StartUp, Surprisingly Awesome, and Sampler), This American Life, Serial, Radiolab, Invisibilia, WTF with Marc Maron, and How Did This Get Made?

Commute gaming is at a zenith; I play Neko Atsume, Monument Valley, Device6, TwoDots, Puzzlejuice, Adventure Time Card Wars, and Magic: Duels. For more intensive gaming, I play République, PRY, Battleheart, the iOS ports of the Final Fantasy series, and Assassins Creed.

Mac Stuff
I use Chrome for browsing, and my extensions are geared for consumption: Honey, AdBlock, WikiWand, The Great Suspender, and Momentum.

I use Keynote for presentations, Notes for word processing, FaceTime for video chats, f.lux to save my eyes.
